In the years 1778-1787. At her request in Rome, under the guidance of JF Raiffenstein and H. Unterberger, “copies” of Vatican paintings were taken to recreate the “Raphael Loggias” in the St. Petersburg Hermitage. Under the project of the architect G. Quarenghi they were included in the building of the Old Hermitage and inaugurated in 1787.
