Crafted from a delightfully plush and lofty blend of 53% acrylic and 47% mohair…so it exudes that wonderful hazy aura in the sunlight that mohair lovers adore! It’s a 90’s gem in aqua blue…and is just infinitely touchable… Cuddle up next to him on the couch in this vintage beauty and he won’t be able to keep his hands off…but maybe that’s not so bad? An iconic piece, from a simpler time… I adore the pointelle stitching details on this sweater and the way the cabling adds depth and dimension to the highly textural fabric. It’s at once both simple and unassuming, yet still strikingly beautiful. The frothy mohair fibers really ramp up the ‘cozy level’ and lend an ethereal glow that is positively mesmerizing… Some people aren’t fond of mohair, while others simply can’t get enough. Guess which camp I’m in! Listed on the size tag as a woman’s Small, it’s rather oversized for a small since it hails from an era when sizing was different and big, baggy sweaters were the norm. The bust measures 19 inches from armpit to armpit, unstretched, and I can stretch it out to 28 inches with ease. The overall length is around 23 inches from shoulder to hem and the sleeves are 16 inches from the dropped armpits to the cuffs. I can find no flaws to note and this adorable fuzz ball of a sweater looks and wears as well today as ever! I did hand wash it in lavender oil Eucalan, conditioned it and gently brushed it out to restore the wonderful hazy texture…so it’s all refurbished and ready to enjoy!
