Note: your revolver MUST say “Super Blackhawk” and have a square-backed trigger guard, OR say “Super Blackhawk Hunter” (which has a rounded trigger guard) for these to fit. Please note that these grips will NOT fit any other Super Blackhawk with a Round trigger guard. We have grips for all other models, so please contact us for the proper grip or if you are unsure. We will be happy to help! Note: these will not fit any of the standard Blackhawks (which will only say “Blackhawk” or “New Model Blackhawk” on the frame, without using the word “Super”); the Vaqueros; the Single Six, Single Seven, Single Nine, and Single Tens; the Old Army; the Wrangler; or any of the Super Blackhawks with a rounded trigger guard (except for the Hunter model). Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory. It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant. It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials. Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat. It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance. When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing. About Our Aging Process: The best Aged Ivory grips start with the best materials. Unlike the commonly available “solid yellow” plastic grips which detract from the appearance and handling of a revolver or firearm, our Aged Ivory grips are made out of the best components available, incorporate natural materials, and feature a genuine, authentic patina. Their authenticity is so convincing that many experts cannot tell it apart from real Ivory. The difference is noticeable even in the photos, but is even more apparent in person. These grips feature authentic color mottling, variegation, and subtle wear marks as seen on many of the revolvers which belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West. We offer the highest quality, most authentic imitation Aged Ivory grips available anywhere on the market. Our process utilizes concentrated UV light (the essential aging property in natural sunlight), and in addition employing heat and pressure in a special controlled high oxygen-rich environment which accelerates the aging process. Unlike a painted surface, our patina actually extends below the surface, into the grip material itself. Not only does it look better to begin with, but will not chip, crack, or peel, like superficially applied surfaces. With our exclusive aging process, these grips are outstanding right out of the box, and will continue to improve over time.
