Ballantyne, a popular author of juvenile fiction.Sixteen pages of adverts to the rear. CONDITION In the original publisher’s cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light marks to the boards. Cloth to the front joint is little cockled. Front hinge is starting but firm, rear hinge is a little strained. Author’s signature tipped-in to the front paste down. Spots to the fore edge. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some scattered spots.
